Play by the Rules
Play by the Rules is a comprehensive portal which provides the latest news, articles, events, tools and resources around safe, fair and inclusive sport. There is information on managing risks, dealing with complaints and template codes and policies for clubs to download and adapt for their own use. There’s also fact sheets, guides and links on where to get additional help.
Sport Australia
Sport Australia (formerly The Australian Sports Commission) is Australia’s primary national sports administration and advisory agency. Its website contains a host of club development resources.
Sports Medicine Australia
Sports Medicine Australia is Australia’s peak national umbrella body for sports medicine and sports science, advising on all medical and health issues for active people of ages and levels of ability. Its website contains injury factsheets, policies, concussion guidance and more.
Good Sports
The Australian Drug Foundation’s Good Sports program provides free support to community sporting clubs to change their culture and reduce high risk drinking. The Good Sports program works in communities to make sports clubs safe and healthy through the responsible management of alcohol.
SA Office for Recreation and Sport
A comprehensive portal with information and resources on managing your club, member protection, coaching and volunteering.
Volunteering SA
Volunteers are the backbone of local clubs and associations. Information and training opportunities are available on recruiting, retaining and recognising your volunteers.
